January Stuff

Because of New Year's Eve fireworks are allowed so we did some with the kids. They were so happy to run around outside while Daddy lit some fireworks. It was also nice you could do them at 7pm instead of 10 at night like on the 4th of July.
Derrick and Caleb built a snow fort. It turned out awesome! They are both so proud of it:

This was funny. I took Brynn to story time while Caleb was at preschool. They asked for volunteers to wear hats. Brynn thought she could get one and come back to me. She was horrified when I told her she had to stay up front. She was on the verge of tears the whole time but I kept smiling at her and she never shed a tear. I got a picture of her up there and at dinner that night I told Derrick what happened and showed him the picture. Brynn kept saying, "Show me the picture of me sad." Even she got a kick out of it.

Brynn was just doing this one night. I thought it was cute so I just started filming:
